What is ARCH?

ARCH (Abortion Recovery Care & Helpline) is an organization which offers help for women, men and families to restore their lives and relationships after an abortion experience. We are committed to exposing the truth of abortion’s tragedy in our community that women deserve better than abortion.

We recognise that there is a great need for much in-depth work in the area of post-abortion healing. ARCH supports and encourages the development of honest, caring support networks throughout the country. We encourage further research into PAT because we believe it is the key to healing.

Our work also involves broad based awareness campaigns to promote a greater understanding of Post Abortion Trauma (PAT).

EDUCATION

ARCH provides speakers for schools, colleges and other groups

We work with the media at all levels, making appearances on radio and television, and giving interviews to newspapers and periodicals.

Margaret Cuthill

Margaret Cuthill is a Post Abortion Trauma (PAT) counsellor and is the National Co-ordinator of ARCH.  She herself has had abortion experience and struggled with PAT.

Margaret has recovered her life through receiving PAT counselling, and has since been working as a full time PAT counsellor for the past 20 years.
