Abortion Recovery Care & Helpline (ARCH) was started with women who experienced abortion and struggled in the aftermath. We are dedicated to promoting the emotional and psychological well-being of women, men and families after an abortion by the provision of counselling and supportive help. Our services are provided confidentially, compassionately, without judgement and free of charge.

If you do not manage to get through, please:
63%
of women coerced into an abortion were never asked by a professional if they were being pressured.
Coercion is abuse.
If you had an abortion/s and were pressurised or coerced in any way, we would be very grateful if you could tell us, anonymously, what might have helped at the time. You can participate in our current Coercion Survey here.
If you are unsure whether you are being pressured or coerced into an abortion, or what to do about it, please take a couple of minutes to go through these questions on our Self-Survey Screening Tool.
